The Level one class has been practicing giving multiple step directions this week by teaching the class how to play games from their home countries. Monday Suhaib taught us a domino game called Azneef. The same game was played by our Kurdish students but was called Domine. The game Segen, Mical, and their mother was teaching us was called Teley Teley in the Tigrinya language. Baslan and Ghandi said the same game was called Listo in Kurdish. The students have been amazed that even though they come from very different parts of the world that they play some of the same games.
