Painted Canvases in Elliott Cafeteria

New canvases painted by the Elliott staff are adorning the east wall in the cafeteria.  The canvases brighten dull, inspired white walls for all to enjoy while dining!

LPS asked each school to share a thank you message to our community. All 5th graders wrote a “Thank you Lincoln Community” statement, with Vanessa’s writing being chosen to represent Elliott. In addition, Vanessa’s class was included in the video. Thank you Lincoln!

Bulbs of Kindness at Elliott

Students created kindness bulbs.  On each bulb, a student wrote about a time they were kind to someone, when someone was kind to them, or when they saw someone being kind.  Now, we are lighting up the school with kindness as our halls are lined with bulbs of kindness!

The 5th Grade students were treated to a performance of “Amahl and the Night Visitors” on Friday of last week. The performance took place in the UNL “Black Box” theater and featured opera students from UNL, as well as a chorus featuring several students from various high schools within LPS. There was even a surprise for Mrs. Beck! What a fantastic experience!

Winter Concert – Band, Chorus, and Orchestra.  Thank you Ms. Sandene and Mrs. Fraley for leading our musical groups.

What a treat! The Lincoln High School Drumline Core visited Elliott on Friday. The performance was a result of the great work by students earning GRIT tickets this year. Thank you LHS Drumline.

What a feast! Thank you to our ELL students and teachers!
